I featured something from this record last year, but I’ve learned from my email that people love the Peppermint Kandy Kids. Loads of folks had these albums as kids and they have been lost over the years and are sought after with all of the obsession and fervor Charles Foster Kane held for a little sled we all know.
This track does not feature the adorable kids singing and talking in their distinctive New York accents. Instead, it features a little cha-cha-cha that gets the toes a tappin’. It’s like somebody decided to make a Christmas song over a lost Santana track. And you’ve gotta love the oomph that the singer puts into her performance. And then there’s the flute solo….
