You’ll note, on listening to Have A Merry Merry Christmas, that they really want your Christmas to be merry (in fact, they left 3 “Merryâ€â€™s off the song title). So, please be merry….
Now, Slim Boyd has a bit of an identity problem. It seems this album can also be found under Tex Johnson and his Six-Shooters AND Cactus Jim and the Wranglers. Plus I know some songs have been included on albums by The Caroleers. That’s our friendly record industry at work…trying to sell you music you already own by re-releasing it under a different artist, album name and cover. Wow!
Anyway, don’t let the confusion (and excess repetition) dissuade you from tapping your feet to this hopalong country tune.
